By submitting an enrolment it is understood that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions
Tuition Fees & Payments
- The minimum age for enrolment is 16 years.
- Fees are not refundable or transferable to another student.
- Course Fees do not include: paper,pens,cassettes, books stationery,accommodation,external examination fees, personal and health insurance, social programme (except those advertised as free), travel to/from your accommodation, airport or bank transfer charges.
- ROOMS VARY IN SIZE FROM 14 TO 24 STUDENTS PER CLASS
- Payments can be made through bank transfer. Our bank details will be written on your invoice. Students/Agents are responsible for all bank transfers charges or student can pay on arrival.
- Paying by instalments is not recommended for students from overseas as this could affect the outcome of visa applications
Course Bookings
- Start dates can be altered prior to commencement only once. There will be a charge of £25 for further changes.
- Failure to start the course on commencement date or to complete the course will result in removal of the student from the class register without a refund or transfer to another class.
- The college reserves the right to change teachers, times, rooms and combine classes if necessary.
- Students must speak English at all times in the college. Students who continue to speak another language will be asked to leave the classroom.
Examinations courses
- The College normally enters students for an examination at their request. The student is responsible for ensuring that examination entries and fees are paid on the dates due.
Time of classes
- The time of courses cannot be guaranteed to be in the morning or afternoon but the college makes every effort to ensure the student is placed at the time of their choice.
- Two breaks of 10 minutes for every 1.5 hours of study.
Attendance
- All SNT students are expected to attend all their classes. If you miss the first or second lesson you will be marked absent.
- No extension or refunds will be given for exclusion from class due to late arrival.
- Your attendance will be checked daily and if it falls below 80% (excluding authorized holiday and certified illness) you will receive a warning from the college.
- If you continue to miss lessons after receiving the warning you will be expelled from SNT. You will not receive a refund or a certificate.
- Students who are absent for over 4 weeks (excluding certified illness or holidays) will not have the right to return to their course but may book a new course.
- The college will issue a college leaving certificate only if satisfactory attendance has been maintained(except under exceptional circumstances).
Conduct and Discipline
- In cases of proven criminal offence or flagrant misconduct, the College reserves the right to expel any student. In these circumstances, no refund will be given.
- Students are expected to behave in an orderly manner and any deliberate damage to College property will be treated as gross misconduct. In the case of such misconduct the student will be held personally responsible for rectifying any damage caused.
- Students are expected to observe fire and safety rules displayed at the college.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the college building. If a student is caught smoking in the college building the student will be expelled immediately from SNT College without a refund or a Certificate.
Cancellations/Visa refusal
Refund for reasons related to visa/leave to enter the UK only. Full refund except the registration fee £55 and £55 for administration fee. The student must:
- Return the original letter of acceptance (required by all applicants).
- Return original payment receipt.
- Return copy of the letter of rejection.
- Students must send all documents by registered post to arrive at the college no more than 4 weeks after the starting date of the course.

- Regardless of who paid for the course, refunds will only be given in the name of the student, paid by cheque or bank transfer only. Any bank charges are payable by the student/agent.
- Refunds may take up to 4 weeks from the date that all the original documentation is received.
- Cancellations must be made in writing by the student and posted /emailed to the college or will not be accepted and no refund will be given.
- There will be no refund in the event of late arrival, leaving or being dismissed before the end of the course.
- No refund can be made for examination fees, travel expenses, registration fee , accommodation booking fee or airport transfers.
- No refund can be made once student has been granted visa. It is the student’s responsibility to take out personal and health insurance against all such risks, including inability to attend or continue a course
Health Insurance
- Students are strongly advised to obtain medical insurance in their country before coming to England
Force Majeure
- SNT College shall not be responsible for or deemed to be in default by reason of delays in or failure of performance of this agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control and not being limited to civil war, war between nations, insurrections, strikes, riots, fires, floods, explosions, earthquakes , serious accidents, any act of the government, governmental priorities, allocations, regulations, or orders affecting material or facilities, acts of God or the public enemy, failure of transportation, epidemics, quarantine, restrictions, or labour trouble causing cessation, slowdown or interruption of work and failure of suppliers and sub-contracts to furnish labour or material within their contractual delivery times.
Liability
- The College, its employees and its representatives accept no responsibility for personal injury and/or loss or damage to personal property on the College premises whether as a result of fire, burglary, theft or otherwise. This condition also applies to public and private places included in College trips and excursions.
- The College is not responsible for the safekeeping and delivery of any post, fax etc.
General Information
- Photographs of the students may be used in the college’s promotional and publicity material (brochures and website) unless the student specifically objects.
- If a student has a complaint they should speak to the appropriate member of staff who will try to resolve the problem as soon as possible (Academic problems: speak to DOS. Welfare/Accommodation problems: speak to Welfare & Accommodation Officer).
- It is the policy of SNT College not to disclose personal details of any student to a third party (other than the appropriate authorities) without prior written authority of students.
- The College does not provide parking or storage facilities. Any items left at the premises or outside the College are left at the owner's risk.
- The College building is suitable for the provision of facilities for the disabled. We are happy to help!
- The decision of the College Director will be final and binding in all cases and for all students and/or their agents/representatives.
- These Terms are governed by the law of England and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of England.
