15 hours of English (Upper Intermediate/ CEFR Level B2 and above) plus 7.5 hours of IT leading to:
British Computer Society Level 1 Certificate in IT User Skills and British Computer Society Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills
When both certificates have been completed, BCS will issue you with an additional certificate:
The European or International Computer Driving Licence (ECDL/ICDL)
Level 1 Certificate "ECDL Essentials" (estimated time = one term)

This qualification is for novice computer users wanting to prove and improve their computer skills.
PLEASE NOTE: IT Courses will be offered subject to demand/availability.
ECDL Modules
Module 1: Concepts of Information and Communication Technology
Understand the main concepts of ICT at a general level, and to know about the different parts of a computer.
Module 2: Using the Computer and Managing Files
Competence in running and managing a personal computer.
Module 3: Word Processing
The ability to use a word processing application to create everyday letters and documents.
Module 4: Spreadsheets
Understanding the concept of spreadsheets and demonstrating an ability to use a spreadsheet to produce accurate work outputs.
Module 5: Using Databases
Understanding the concept of a database and competence in using a database.
Module 6: Presentation
Demonstrate competence in using presentation software.
Module 7: Web Browsing and Communication
Know about the Internet and how to use a web browsing application.
